Do we ever really understand what we are truly supposed to do? Why are we here? What is our purpose? I know that part of my purpose is to love, genuinely love! I have so much love to give and I love my family & friends, and yes, I have been told I have a big heart, and I wear my heart on my sleeve, which is not necessarily a bad thing.
I have some amazing friends in my life, friends I have had since I was a little girl, some since I moved to Florida in 1995, and some since I moved here to NC in 1999. I have some amazing friends! I really do! I am so grateful for each and every one of you! I have friends that have come, and gone, and I learned something from each of them. I can honestly say that! I take away different things from each of you.
I have had 2 awesome jobs since I moved to NC. I have made some lifelong friends at these jobs, but my most current job, I don't know if it's because of the field I am in or not, but my real close friends from my current job, are the ones that I know, when the going gets tough, they will be standing right there. I have a very select few not from there that will always be in my life. (3-4 actually & they know who they are) But my friends from this new job, are about as honest as they come. We know that when the going gets tough, all we have to do is pick up the phone & we are there for each other, NO QUESTIONS ASKED! Those are rare friendships to have. I recently learned something about myself with one of my friends. We were out, talking about people saying "I don't get offended easily do I?& I asked him that question & he smiled & said "OK" and I immediately tried to defend myself. HE commented that why do I feel like I need to defend myself because all he said was "OK" and I didn't realize it at first, but he was so right. Why did I get defensive? And I have thought long and hard about it, and I need to learn not to care, everyone is entitled to their opinions and it's just that. "Their Opinions" and I can say Ok, and walk away and not defend myself! SO, that is my newest task I am going to try to achieve, not getting so defensive when someone says something that I may not like or whatever..... There really was a point to me writing about this topic, and of course right now, I can't remember what that is.
I have been reading this book. 50 Shades of Grey! OMG, can I tell you, this is some book! IF you don't like sex talk,(Mom) now's your chance to leave my page! But this book has made me think about some crazy things! LOL Kinda funny actually. We all know "SEX" was always the forbidden topic when we were growing up. Or at least not talked about openly as some of us do with our kids today! (That's a whole topic for another day!!)
For those of you who have read this book! Come on, tell me you have not met a Christian Grey? Maybe not 100% as sexually freaky as him, maybe not even 50% as sexually freaky as him, but who does not like someone a man takes control in the bedroom. I Think every woman loves to have a man control every aspect of the experience, maybe not all the time, but sometimes it's a lot of fun! Right? As it is awesome for the woman to control the experience at some point too. It's a give and take thing and the experience when you are doing it with someone you care about, or someone you love, makes the experience that much more exciting. Ok, it also is more exciting when you are first with someone lets face it. But this book, OMG Has spiced up some relationships that may have otherwise been in trouble so I am told. How is it, that a book, a love story, or a "SMUT STORY" can add spice to a relationship? Whether its' a marriage, or any kind of relationship... I think we all (or most people) don't want to admit that we have thought about some of these things, that we have fantasized about some of these things. Come one, what woman doesn't want a hot man, wanting her! They roll play, they add spice to their relationship. IT is exciting. I think we all want to have a Christian Grey in our life at some point in time. Right?
Ok I have a lot more of book 1 to finish..... I'm going to stop this conversation now, any of you who would like to comment on this topic of Christian Grey, Feel free too, I'd like to take the topic a little further tomorrow! Shall we now?? I DARE YOU........

Oh & I did great on the food intake today. Chickens & broccoli with some rice (yes it's grain) for lunch and for dinner too! Cooked very healthy!!!! I need to have some grain in my life just small small proportions.
I think I will wait til I get home from the beach & weigh myself next week.
